Nowadays, It is important to have an online profile that contains your preferences and resumes in a customized way. It will be easy for the friend and the employees of the company to connect with you. Before knowing how to change your LinkedIn URL? We should know what is LinkedIn URL? as we know, every profile has its own Web address link. Do you know? the LinkedIn URL is also the unique identifier of your LinkedIn profile on the web. Anyone clicking on the URL of the profile is available at the address. Directly reach your LinkedIn profile page. 

At the top of the page, you will be able to find the Profile URL of your Linkedin Profile.

Change the LinkedIn URL on your Laptop

STEP-1: First of all, You can open your corresponding web browser and simply type LINKEDIN on google. Then, you can click on the google search button. On the top, you will see the LinkedIn official website. Once you click this link then your web browser page will go to the Linkedin website. After that, you can enter your corresponding Linkedin username/email-id and password. And then click on the “SignIn” button here.

STEP-2: You will be redirected to the appropriate LinkedIn Account. Then, Go to the right top corner of your screen on your laptop. You will see the  View Profile option > Click on the button.

On the right-top corner of the page, you have to click on the "View profile" option.

STEP-3:  On the right side of the page, You have to click on the “Edit public profile & URL” link that exactly appears on the below image.

Click on the "Edit public profile & URL" button that appears on the screen.

STEP-4: On your Linkedin right-top corner side of the page, you will see the “Edit your custom URL” option appearing here. Just below it, you will see the pencil shape icon. Click on that icon.

Click on the "Edit your custom URL" option which is on the right top corner of your screen. Then select the pencil icon to make the new URL of your own choice.

STEP-5: Now, you can change the Custom URL that should contain the 3-100 numbers or letters in the box. After writing your URL link, click on the save option given below.

Click on the "save" option to make the new URL link. (Remember:- The URL must contain 3 to 100 letters or numbers. Don't use the spacebar, special characters, or symbols while making the URL for your profile).

Now, the URL of the LinkedIn account changed. That’s it! Hereafter, you can able to use your New URL link on your LinkedIn profile without getting into any trouble on your end.
