1. Android
Step-1: First of all, You can launch the Snapchat application on an appropriate mobile phone or tablet.
Step-2: Now, you can tap on the Memories icon. From this option, you can find it at the bottom, to the left of the shutter button.
Step-3: Then, Tap on the Camera roll tab, beneath the tab you’ll see a warning or disclaimer – Your Camera Roll Isn’t Backed Up By Snapchat. There isn’t anything wrong with this description, it is just notifying you that these pictures aren’t saved on Snapchat but it is saved on your device.
Step-4: Then, tap & hold images in the Camera roll tab. Only hold those images which you want to back up.
Step-5: Tap on the Export icon. When you tap and hold the images, you’ll get some options, from which you have to select the ‘Export’ option.
Step-6: Tap on the Snapchat icon > Save. After tapping on export, you have to tap on Snapchat, and it will redirect you to the story page, where you need to tap on Save, this option will be at bottom of the page.
Step-7: Tap on Save to Memories. After selecting tap on memories, you have successfully backed up your images on the camera roll.
Now, you can go to the Snaps tab, and you’ll see the pictures you have backed up.
2. iPhone/iOS
Step-1: Open the Snapchat app on your iPhone or iPad.
Step-2: From next, You just Tap on the Memories icon here. There is a Memories icon next to the shutter button on the left-hand side.
Step-3: In further, You can go to the Camera roll tab. Where you get the disclaimer – Your Camera Roll Isn’t Backed Up By Snapchat.
Step-4: Tap and hold the photos from your camera roll, which you want to backup.
Step-5: Now tap on Create icon. Of course, Once you tap and hold two or more pictures you’ll get create an icon, at the bottom.
Step-6: Then, Tap on Save Story. This option might be hidden by your keyboard, therefore you have to swipe down to let the keyboard disappear, and then tap on save the story.
Step-7: That’s it your new story is backed up. To know go to the Snaps tab, and you’ll find that story or photo on the snap tab.
Photos on the snap tabs are backed-up photos.
