While there is no button you can press to delete your account, You can follow the below steps to request deletion of the account through customer service care to cancel your subscription.
Step-1: First of all, You can open a Web Browser on your computer and click on the link, To be redirected to the Instacart Help Center.
Step-2: If you are not signed in, you need to enter your login credentials to enter the website. Now you will be in the Contact Us part of the webpage.
Step-3: Now, From the given options, look for the My Account button, And then proceed to click on it.
Step-4: Now, you will find another button called I Still Need Help. Just click on the same, and it will redirect you to a new page.
Step-5: After this, click on the Button that says Chat With Us. Wait for a few seconds before you are connected to a natural person. You will see a confirmation on your screen, and mention that you wish to delete your account permanently.
How to delete an Instacart account Via Phone
Step-1: Call the Instacart customer support executive through this number, 1-888-246-7822. Once you do that, A robotic voice will follow to listen to the instruction and wait till an actual human appears with you.
Step-2: Once they do, You need to request them to cancel your account membership and request them to do so on the Phone.
Step-3: Now, they would like to verify yours. This process may involve asking for your name, email, and, an important one, your phone number. Make sure you use the same phone number linked to your Instacart account.
Step-4: After verifying all the details, the customer executive will ask you for confirmation of your subscription cancellation. You should say Yes, And continue.
Step-5: After this, The customer executive will give you confirmation that your account has been canceled. And that you shall receive an email confirming that your subscription for the same is canceled.
How to delete an Instacart account through email
You can leave an email to do the same process. You can email the company requesting to cancel your subscription and remove your account from their database. Once the email is received, they will verify the details and terminate your account.
Step-1: Firstly, Open your email that is linked to your Instacart account.
Step-2: Now click on the compose Button, And enter the shoppers@instacart.com email-ID in the sender list.
