Amazon has started providing lockers through the continental United States. There are currently more than three thousand lockers available. If you’re a Prime user, you don’t even have to pay for it!
Just visit your Amazon app and search for the nearest Amazon locker at your convenience. Once your package is shipped, you will receive a call or text message. You can then go and pick it up.
The Amazon lockers are available 24/7. And a pick-up time of 3 calendar days just makes it more appealing.
Why did Amazon use UPS and other contractors for shipping?
UPS has one of the largest market covers in the shipping industry. While Amazon works as an intermediary to regulate the market. Thus Amazon came into a partnership with UPS.
