Set Honeywell Thermostat Temperature Using The Instructions Provided


In this article, We’ll learn How to SET your Honeywell thermostat temperature. By default, all the thermostats are pre-programmed, and you have to change the settings according to your need. There is a pre-defined set of times and temperatures for all the set schedule periods. There are four types of set schedule periods, and these include a wake time schedule period, leave time schedule period, return time schedule period, and asleep time schedule period. I’ll briefly go through all of them.

Setting the Time


Step-1: First of all, You can click on the Set button.

Step-2: Now, you can change the time using the Up and Down arrow button on the right side.

Step-3: Once you have entered the time you want, Now click on the Set button again, and it will lock the time for you.

How to set the temperature?


For Wake


Step-1: Firstly, Click on the SET button.

Step-2: Once time starts to blink, click on the upwards and downwards arrows to change the time. (This is setting up your schedule, so whenever this time will occur, Your temperature will change accordingly.)

Step-3: After you set the time, You click on the SET button. Now the temperature will start to blink, using the down and up buttons to change the desired temperature for yourself.

Step-4: Then, Click on the SET button to lock your settings.

For Leave


Step-1: Once you set the Wake Time, When you now click on the SET, it will automatically shift to the Leave.

Step-2: Once time starts to blink, click on the upwards and downwards arrows to change the time.

Step-3: After you set the time, You click on the SET button. Now the temperature will start to blink, using the down and up buttons to change the desired temperature for yourself.

Step-4: Then, You can click on the SET button to lock your settings.

For Return


Step-1: Once you set the Leave Time, When you now click on the SET, it will automatically shift to the Return.

Step-2: Once time starts to blink, click on the upwards and downwards arrows to change the time. (This is setting up your schedule, so whenever this time will occur, Your temperature will change accordingly.)

Step-3: After you set the time, You click on the SET button. Now the temperature will start to blink, using the down and up buttons to change the desired temperature for yourself.

Step-4: Click on the SET button to lock your settings.

For Sleep


Step-1: Once you set the Return Time, When you now click on the SET, it will automatically shift to Sleep.

Step-2: Once time starts to blink, click on the upwards and downwards arrows to change the time.

Step-3: After you set the time, You click on the SET button. Now the temperature will start to blink, using the down and up buttons to change the desired temperature for yourself.

Step-4: Click on the SET button to lock your settings.

Conclusion


Once you have set all the periods for temperature, Now it will automatically change, and you do not need to manually interfere with the same. Of course, on days when you feel a change is needed, you directly interfere and set the temperatures. Honeywell’s thermostats are one of the easiest to use and program.

This article; Only went through the basics of setting the time and temperature. These methods work unanimously with all Honeywell thermostats, but, If you have a slightly old version or from another company. The methods would still remain the same. It could be that your SET button would not be on the left but right, But the steps that I have shared would remain the same.
