To Learn How To Delete Your Mint Account Easily?
There are a few steps you need to follow how to delete/remove a Mint account.
#1. Log in
Firstly, you can open your laptop or desktop and from there, go to mint.com. Enter your mint account associated email-id or mobile number. Then you can log in to your account by clicking on the “Sign In” button here.
After that, you can enter your mint-associated account password and then click the “Continue” button.
Next, you can wait for a few seconds after you are redirected to the mint homepage.
#2. Select the ‘Settings’ option
After logging in, you will see a setting button in the top corner of the screen. You have to click there. After clicking on Settings, the initial stage of deleting your Mint account is over. Then you have to follow the next possession.
From this mint settings page, you have a lot of options. Here, you can click the “Intuit Account“ page link that belongs to the top left side.
Once you click on that link, a new tab will open in your browser and go to the Intuit Account Manager page.
#3. Select the ‘Data Privacy’ Tab
From this Intuit account page, click on the “Data Privacy” tab on the top left-hand side of the screen.
#4. Choose the ‘Delete’ option for ‘Data Privacy.’
Next, you can scroll down to the data privacy page and click on the “Delete” tab.
It will go to the next tab. Here, you can choose the reason why you are willing to delete your mint account forever. I choose the “Another Reason” option.
This is my option you can choose whatever the reason you need. Next, read all the information once and click the “Continue” button.
From the next screen, you can tick the confirmation tickmark here.
After all, is done, you can click the “Delete this data” button here.
#5. Sign In to your Mint account again
This is almost the last step to delete the account. Once you hit the “Delete this data” button, Mint asks you to sign in to your account again so that it will go to the login page.
Enter your appropriate mint credentials and click the “Sign In” button.
It will go to the Data Privacy page again.
And Mint started your account deletion process.
After a few minutes, Mint asked to check your email.
Go to the respective mint account associated email inbox and ensure you have received a mint deletion acknowledgment email that looks like the below screenshot.
That’s it. You have successfully deleted your mint account without getting any trouble.
#6. It may take a few days for the account to close
Of course, Your account is expected to be completely deleted within six to seven days of the building request being accepted. Then you can contact Mint’s help page for some of your mails. You will receive a confirmation mail from the Mint. And you will be fully aware that your account has been deleted.
#7. Uninstall the app
When you have fully processed your laptop’s display and realized that your deletion request was confirmed, then you need to uninstall the Mint app from your phone. After uninstalling the app from the phone, your deleting process is complete. You can expect to have your account deleted within six to seven days.
